About Muddy: Mudassar is respected globally for his knowledge of the game. His coaching resume is equally as impressive as his playing CV having coached the Pakistan team, Kenyan team as well as host of other roles. Prior to joining the ICC Academy, Mudassar was Director of Development at the Pakistan Cricket Board where he established the National Academy and Coach Education programmes
Mudassar now leads the Cricket Development team at ICC Academy; working closely with the Emerging Players Programme as well as supporting the UAE National Team as batting coach.

Name: Andrew Russell
Role: Strength & Conditioning Specialist
About Andy: Andrew leads on the Warriors coaching programme at ICC Academy. Andrew is responsible for the team that delivers the coaching programmes with local players from across the UAE between the ages of 3 all the way though to Adults.
A highly qualified cricket coach from South Africa, Andy also has graduate and post-graduate Sport Science degrees, knowledge which he draws on to oversee and develop the coaching and competitive programmes. Coupled with Andy’s impeccable sporting pedigree, a former junior international wicket keeper and international Rugby player, the Warriors programmes at ICC Academy are incredibly well-supported.

Name: Adnan Sabri
Role: Coach – Adult Participation
About Sabri: Adnan is a former First Class cricketer from Pakistan and PCB qualified coach. Adnan works across the ICC Academy pathway, his enthusiasm, skill and broad experiences enable him to help all players to learn the game in a fun and challenging way.
Adnan specifically supports the Warriors Performance Programme as well as leading on the development of the Adult programmes at ICC Academy, designed to help players continue to play and enjoy the game after graduation from the Warriors programme. Adnan's ley specialism is one-on-one coaching, specifically using the wide-range of performance analysis tools at ICC Academy to support this.
Name: Samuel Charmley
Role: Schools Coaching Programme and ICC Experience Officer
About Samuel : Having joined the ICC Academy as a part time coach, Sam now leads the ICC Academy's Schools Coaching programme.
The Schools Coaching programme is designed to help introduce children to cricket in educational settings, either during curriculum time or as an extra-curricular activity.
Sam leads a group of schools coaches that work across the UAE helping the sport to grow and develop. As part of the scheme, Sam also leads on specific schools tournaments, camps and activities at ICC Academy. Sam is highly effective children's coach, qualified through the Cricket Australia Coach Education system. In addition to working in Education, Sam also leads on the ICC Experience, a programme which is designed to introduce people to cricket in non-traditional settings.
Name: Peter Kelly
Role: Sport Science Lead
About Peter: An ex-professional Rugby Union player, Peter brings a host of elite sports preparation expertise to ICC Academy from across Rugby and Cricket. With a broad knowledge base, Peter's specialism is strength and conditioning, Peter joined ICC Academy from Kent County Cricket Club in the UK, where he was Head of Strength and Conditioning.
Peter supports the ICC Academy Warriors Performance Development Programme with specialist coaching and ensures that the junior coaching at ICC Academy is also incredibly well-resourced in this area. Peter also acts at the UAE National Team's Head of Sport Science.
Role: Player Pathway and Coach Development Lead
About TBC: TBC leads on the ICC Academy Emerging Player Programme which support players recognized as having high potential at ICC Academy as well as supporting the Coach Education and Development initiatives. The Emerging player Programme is specifically designed to help players to maximize their potential, and is tasked with creating an over-supply of players that are eligible to play cricket for the UAE or other performance cricket teams globally.
